Performance optimization of electret air filter

Abstract With the rapid development of society, severe haze weather caused by particulate matters (PMs) occurs frequently. Electret air filters have been playing an important role in purifying and alleviating pollution. In this work, electret were fabricated based on polypropylene (PP) materials to investigate their filtering performance PMs. First, PP-based films was mainly focused on. The charge storage stability found be associated with material recipe technique. Introducing 1% tourmaline into isotactic PP can realize best stability, while adding graphene weaken stability. And techniques including high-temperature pre-aging polarization at elevated temperature adopted optimize performance. Then, optimized technique, purification filter elements dependent condition evaluated. present work provide optimization strategy improve filters.
